Dr. Amaury Guerra Gutierrez wants his patients to know that he is also a patient. With this unique perspective, he understands the importance of quality care that helps improve patients’ lives. “Often times, seniors do not receive the personalized attention they need. A patient should not feel like a number,” he says. “I strive to provide a level of care that helps my patients smile and enjoy every day.”

As a teenager, Dr. Antonio Vinluan’s mother, a physician, appointed him as caregiver for his ailing grandmother. It was a responsibility he reluctantly accepted at rst, but one that, in time, taught him a valuable lesson about senior care and, ultimately, led him into medicine. “I realized that my grandmother really needed my help,” Dr. Vinluan recalls, “especially with her medications and going to her doctors. I think seniors are often the forgotten segment of our society and in most cases they are being taken for granted. I’m here to help them live the best years of their life by providing excellent care whenever they need me."

When they have a good outcome, when something that was broken in their health or lives gets fixed, that’s very fulfilling to me.”
