About Sandra Molteni
Teaching and encouraging shared decision-making are two of Dr. Sandra Molteni’s favorite parts of working in healthcare. “My job is not to make choices for my patients but to know medical things, communicate this information effectively (teaching), and let the patient make decisions about what works best for them,” she explains. She loves “solving science puzzles all day to help make people’s lives better.” She adds, “I try to make sure patients are respected and feel seen and heard at every visit.” In her free time, she loves gardening, baking, and napping with her cats.
Dr. Molteni is also a proud veteran. During her time with the 212th Combat Support Hospital, she was stationed in Germany and deployed to both Poland and Turkey.
