About Anthony Shaver
While watching his mother receive care from a hospice nurse, Anthony Shaver knew he was destined to work in healthcare. His favorite part of being a nurse practitioner is “seeing the joy on my patients’ faces as they get better.” He wants patients to know that they will work as a team. “We will walk this road together,” he says. He describes himself as “an educator by nature,” and wants patients to feel informed and understand their treatments. “Building a relationship takes time and trust. Trust me with the little things and the big issues come much easier,” he says.
In his free time, Anthony Shaver can be found spending time with his kids. He is a lover of dad jokes and is also a volunteer firefighter.
