About Carmen Marrero
At a young age, Dr. Carmen Marrero knew she wanted work in healthcare. “I decided to become a primary care physician to help keep patients as healthy as possible and identify medical issues early in their course,” she says. Dr. Marrero believes patients should have a voice in their care and tries her best to educate them on their health. “Each person has different needs, goals, and barriers to care—it’s my job to help them identify each of these and work with them to develop a personalized plan to improve their health and quality of life,” she says. She strives to be transparent and honest with patients.
In her free time, Dr. Marrero enjoys spending time with her family. She especially loves making crafts with her mom and daughter.
