Primary care physician Diana Roman earned her doctorate of medicine and master’s in public health from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She considers patient advocacy an important part of her job, and she is a strong believer of partnership in healthcare.
“The patient’s input is as important as my medical recommendations,” says Dr. Roman. “I enjoy developing long-term relationships with my patients. We work together as a team to make decisions that are in their best interest.”
Dr. Roman likes spending time with her husband and son. She also enjoys traveling to Colombia, where she lived for a time, and experiencing the welcoming, warm culture there. She speaks fluent English and Spanish.
