About Marni Venter
Dr. Marni Venter, inspired by her father, always knew she wanted to work in family medicine. “I wanted to experience the same joy he did in caring for his patients,” she says. Empowering patients to lead a healthy lifestyle is one of her favorite parts of her profession. “I believe listening, empathizing, and indicating understanding is key to establishing strong, trusting relationships,” she says. She greatly values “teamwork between physician and patient” and loves “contributing to the quality of life” of her senior patients.
In her free time, Dr. Venter enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog. She loves staying active and says if she had not pursued medicine, she would have pursued a professional tennis career.
