About Angela Lucas
Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Angela Lucas worked as an elementary school teacher, a nurse, and a nurse practitioner. She explains that “helping others to feel valued and to help them with their needs, both medical and non-medical,” is her favorite part of working in healthcare. She develops trust with patients by actively listening. “This allows me to better understand my patient’s needs, and in turn, show them that I value them and their concerns.” She strives to help patients lead rewarding and fulfilling lives. “I believe every day is a chance to make a difference in someone’s life,” she says.
In her free time, Dr. Lucas loves spending time with her children and pets. She also enjoys reading and spending time on the water.
