Dr. Ayesha Ahmed is a true people person. “People make me happy—and make me love my profession,” she says. “Every day, I look forward to hearing the stories seniors share, learning from them and helping improve their quality of life for their remaining years.” The passion Dr. Ahmed has for medicine started at age 6 when she lost her newborn brother due to a preventable medical error. “It’s driven me to be a preventer of health issues,” she shares, “not just a fixer.”
When Dr. Ahmed isn’t caring for patients or reading medical research, she adores quality time with her family, cooking, home décor and travel. Someday, she hopes to see Australia, New Zealand and the seven wonders of the world.
