About Ayesha Ahmed, MD
After losing her newborn brother at the age of six, Dr. Ayesha Ahmed knew she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare to save families from the heartbreak her family had to endure. “Being able to help make a difference in patients’ lives” is her favorite part of being a physician. She always listens to her patients and strives to empower them. “I will take care of you, but you have to help me to help you,” she explains. If she could change anything about healthcare today, she would increase accessibility. She wants her patients to know they can count on her. “I am there for them,” she says.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Ahmed can be found enjoying quality time with her daughters. She also enjoys doing Henna tattoos.
