As a family nurse practitioner, Claudia Esson loves “helping patients have a voice in their treatment” as well as a better understanding of their health. “Working directly with patients is the best part of my day,” she says. She explains that reassurance, patience, and trust are key in establishing provider-patient relationships. “I am a provider who will give my undivided time and attentive care,” she says. She adds, “I love to empower them to advocate for themselves.” If she could change anything about healthcare today, she would increase accessibility and affordability.
In her free time, Claudia Esson loves gardening, riding her bicycle, and going on long walks. She also enjoys watching funny animal videos.
