Yolanda Maldonado Alba, MD

Growing up, Dr. Yolanda Maldonado Alba watched her physician parents care for their patients “as if they were members of the family.” This inspired her to follow in their footsteps and pursue a career in healthcare. She explains that she “has a special interest in health promotion and prevention to improve the quality of life of her patients.” She particularly enjoys caring for the senior population, explaining that she wants to “continue focusing on transforming the health and lives of seniors by applying her knowledge, experience, and above all, empathy.”

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Maldonado Alba can be found enjoying time with her family and friends. She also enjoys restoring and repurposing antique items.
