About Lisa Abdul-Haqq
Dr. Lisa Abdul-Haqq pursued a career in healthcare to make a difference. She explains, “I know that each person has a gift, and one of mine is the gift to help those who are hurting and to provide them with holistic care addressing the issues of the mind, body, and spirit.” She says “connecting with patients and seeing positive changes in their health” are two of the most rewarding aspects of her profession. She strives to empower patients through education. If she could change anything about healthcare today, she would focus on eliminating racial disparities and reducing the cost of care.
In her free time, Dr. Abdul-Haqq enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also loves singing and considers music therapy for the soul.
