About Afshan Khan
Having dealt with health concerns at an early age, Dr. Afshan Khan understands the complexities of the healthcare system. “I want to be part of a system that challenges the status quo,” she says. She enjoys learning about patients’ goals concerning their care as well as “what brings them joy and happiness.” She explains, “I am here to listen and guide. The patient is ultimately responsible for their decisions, so I want to make sure they have the correct information to make the best decision possible.”
In her free time, Dr. Khan enjoys playing tennis and hiking. She loves taking her daughter to the park and spending time with family. While her ethnicity is Indian, she has lived in three difference countries and enjoys learning about different cultures and backgrounds.
