About Asma Aqib
After her mother was diagnosed with late-stage heart failure, Dr. Asma Aqib vowed to “become a primary care physician who can make a difference in lives by early detection and prevention of diseases.” She strives to be accessible and actively listen to her patients’ concerns. She deeply values trusting relationships. “I try to educate my patients so they can understand and partner to achieve their health goals,” she says. She is passionate about “promoting health equity and accessibility.” She adds, “I am humble and caring by nature. I try to take care of the physical and emotional well-being of people around me.”
When not caring for patients, Dr. Aqib enjoys spending time with family, going on nature walks, and volunteering for community services.
