After witnessing her grandfather experience the effects of Alzheimer’s disease, Dr. Fallon Longmire knew she wanted to pursue a career as a physician. “My favorite part of being a Geriatrician is building a foundation of trust with my patients, so they feel comfortable coming to me with any concerns they might have,” she says. She explains that it is important for her to know her patients beyond their health concerns. “This helps me understand what is important to them, so we can work together to keep them doing the things they love,” she explains.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Longmire loves spending time outside. She especially enjoys rollerblading, gardening, searching for seashells, and watching the sunset.
