About Giovanni Avelluto
Since high school, Dr. Giovanni Avelluto has wanted to make a difference for people through healthcare. He has loved doing that as a geriatrician and board-certified family medicine physician. “My favorite part is being a health advocate for my patients,” says Dr. Avelluto. Working together, he helps them achieve their goals and reduce medications when possible. “It’s also rewarding when I can help seniors improve their quality of life.”
When he’s not with patients, Dr. Avelluto stays up on the latest advances in medicine. He also likes to exercise, teach his children to play checkers, watch cartoons with them, and visit Italy, where his parents were born.
