Dr. Hemani Patel explains that she has felt “a deep sense of servitude from a young age,” which has driven her into healthcare. “I believe in fiercely advocating for my patients to ensure that everyone has equitable access to healthcare,” she says. Getting to know her patients is her favorite part of her profession. “My job as a doctor is to be my patient’s loyal, trustworthy, and respectful friend so that I may be a true champion of their health,” she explains. She adds that she enjoys caring for the senior population and is grateful to give back to them in return for all they have done.
Dr. Patel enjoys staying active and can be found playing basketball or dancing in her free time. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
