About John Whalen
Dr. John Whalen became a physician with the belief that everyone deserves the best medical care. Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Whalen has enjoyed working in family practices and performing house calls over the years. “I strive to give my full attention to patients, respect them, and treat them like family,” he says. “My favorite part is learning about my senior patients’ background and stories.” A bit of a joker, Dr. Whalen also tries to keep the mood light while providing medical care and education.
When not with patients, Dr. Whalen loves to read medical research, collaborate with peers, and spend time with his family. He also likes to travel and hopes to visit New Zealand one day.
