Dr. Kevin Chavez explains that it was his “longtime interest in biochemistry and helping others” that led him to work in healthcare. “I enjoy getting to know patients and their families on a deep, personal level and the feeling of satisfaction that comes from knowing I can help them lead longer, healthier lives,” he says. In his practice, he emphasizes the importance of preventative care and lifestyle changes. He feels gratitude for all that the senior population has done for society. “I want to enhance their quality of life as a show of appreciation,” he says.
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Chavez loves spending quality time with his wife, son, and daughter. He also enjoys watching sports and going to the movies.
