About Michael Hernandez
Dr. Michael Hernandez was top of his class in medical school and his residency. He chose to practice primary care instead of a specialty; he would not feel right telling a patient he can’t help them because he only treats one organ system. “I enjoy being the team member that gets to glue the case together,” says Dr. Hernandez. “Really understanding a patient’s case is the key to a correct diagnosis and treatment plan. Because I can relate to patients, they are willing to trust what I say and follow my recommendations.”
Dr. Hernandez and his wife have three children. He enjoys spending time with his family and likes all types of fishing. After church on Sundays, Dr. Hernandez likes going to Jaguar games.
