About Sophia Joseph
Sophia Joseph was born to care for others. As the eldest of five children, she naturally stepped into a caregiving role early in life — always thinking about how to encourage healthier habits, support her family's well-being, and show up when it mattered most. That nurturing instinct led her to nursing, and her first job in a nursing home deepened her passion for the senior population. "It was not just about providing care, but about preserving dignity, offering comfort, and building trust," she says.
Sophia approaches every patient with the same care and intention she would give her own loved ones. She slows down, listens deeply, and takes time to understand not just medical needs, but also her patients' fears, preferences, and daily experiences. "That connection is just as important as any treatment plan," she says. Taking a holistic approach, Sophia looks beyond symptoms to consider lifestyle, emotional well-being, and daily routines when developing care plans. "My goal is for every patient to feel seen, heard, and cared for every step of the way," she says.
When not with patients, Sophia cherishes quality time with her 11-year-old son, shopping trips with her mom, and brunch with her sister. She also enjoys live music events near the beach — the perfect place to relax and unwind.
