Dr. Wander Hurtado Martinez believes that the strongest doctor-patient relationships are “based on trust, empathy, and love.” He aims to not only improve the physical and mental health of his patients but also improve their overall quality of life. “I like to treat my patients as my own family members,” he says. He was particularly drawn to care for the senior population as they are the sickest population in the United States. He adds that he reads every day to keep up with the ever-evolving world of medicine.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Hurtado Martinez can be found staying active in the gym or spending quality time with family and friends. He also enjoys playing chess and watching movies.
