Dr. Yordan Jimenez Perez knew in high school that he wanted to work in healthcare. “I wanted to become a doctor to help others in need, especially elderly patients,” he says. He adds, “I felt it important to be involved with care for this population.” He explains that “being able to help those in need and see how my little contribution can bring so much happiness to their lives” is his favorite part of his profession. “Being a patient can be scary. I like to take time to get to know my patients and ask about their friends and family, hobbies, and important aspects of their lives,” he says.
In his free time, Dr. Perez loves spending quality time with family and friends. He also enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures.
