Dr. Karina Bishop is passionate about helping the senior population and says her favorite part of being a physician is keeping older adults as independent as possible”. She explains, “I empower them to take control of their medical health by making small changes in diet and activity.” She enjoys talking with her patients and listening to their stories. “I get to learn more about their life every visit,” she says. To keep up with the ever-evolving world of medicine, she attends conferences and listens to podcasts. If she could change anything about the current healthcare system, she would lower costs.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Bishop can be found biking, gardening, or traveling. She also enjoys cooking.
