Ever since she was a little girl, Katherine “Katie” Lee King knew she wanted to help people. “Through my personal and professional relationships, I have grown to love caring for the geriatric population. Because of their strength, compassion, and wisdom, I feel that it is an honor to serve them as they have paved the way for future generations,” she says. She likes learning how patients “define a meaningful life” and believes in “working with them” to develop “individualized and achievable” treatment plans. “Making a connection with someone begins with treating them as a person, not as a patient,” she explains.
Katie enjoys spending her free time with her two daughters. They especially enjoy walking their dog.
