Healthcare and serving others is a passion for me.
About Kimialeesha Thomas
Kimialeesha Thomas, NP was inspired to pursue medicine by a deeply personal journey. Raised by her grandfather after losing her mother and grandmother to preventable and chronic conditions, she witnessed firsthand the healthcare disparities experienced by underserved communities in rural Alabama. "I am passionate about wholistic care, creation, science, and serving others," she says. Those early experiences shaped her unwavering commitment to the senior population and her dedication to closing the gaps in healthcare that too many older adults face.
Kim Thomas builds relationships rooted in consistent love, integrity, compassion, empathy, and active listening. She meets each patient at their individual level — personally, educationally, and medically — breaking down complex diagnoses into clear, understandable terms. "I believe this fosters a positive healthcare experience where the patient feels empowered, leading to improved healthcare outcomes and stronger communities," she says. For NP Thomas, primary care is not just a job — it is a calling. "Healthcare and serving others is a passion for me," she says. "I actually choose to work in primary care as a full-time provider because I love what I do."
When not with patients, NP Thomas enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, taking long walks, reading, watching documentaries, road trips, and shopping.
