Dr. Lawrence Porter’s favorite part of being a physician is “making the heart-to-heart contact that underlies my potential to help people find their best lives and health.” He emphasizes the importance of treating “the entire person” and loves empowering patients. “I let them know how committed I am to be their partner in improving their health,” Dr. Porter says. He feels honored to be a part of his patients’ healthcare teams. “I trust and respect the essential goodness of every person,” he adds.
In his free time, Dr. Porter enjoys playing the string bass, gardening for butterflies, and studying mystical philosophy. He also writes children’s fantasy books with Jewish themes which he hopes to get published someday.
